Queen West Project

Queen West Project
A Theatre Passe Muraille Production
by Deborah Pearson and Allison Cummings
Script and concept by Deborah Pearson
with consultation from members of Eva’s Phoenix
Choreography by Allison Cummings

September 12th – 23rd, 2012, on Queen Street West

The Queen West Project takes multiple dancers and pairs them with audience members to travel down Queen West. Part audio tour, part immersive dance experience, the audience members are wearing headphones through which they hear a soundscape that incorporates text, music, and instructions so that a dance begins to take shape – one that only the audience can hear. Devised in collaboration with youth from Eva’s Phoenix, the Queen West Project explores the area’s relationship to homelessness, mental health and regeneration. Follow the progress of this production on Tumblr or on the TPM Blog.

Performance Schedule:
Tuesday – Saturday: 6:00 pm, 6:45 pm, 7:30 pm, 8:15 pm
Sunday: 2:00 pm, 2:45 pm, 3:30 pm, 4:15 pm

Please call the TPM Box Office for more information and to book tickets: 416-504-7529
