Egg Rolls with Andy
Eggs Rolls with Andy represents a unique opportunity for us to connect the work of the theatre with the world at large. Held prior to a given performance, Egg Rolls with Andy is a casual reception for audiences who are looking to deepen their engagement with the themes or ideas of the play. At each event, we invite a local expert to engage in a discussion around the themes or questions of a play with our Artistic Director, Andy McKim. The discussions might be about city politics, or womens’ rights, or environmental issues, but they are always frank, provocative, and engaging. Audiences are welcome to ask questions of the expert or of Andy, but also to offer insight into the issues at hand. All while enjoying a light snack from a local restaurant.
Egg Rolls with Andy is an entirely free program, offered to Theatre Passe Muraille audiences as a way to make our art impactful beyond the walls of the theatre. We want to question and catalyze, consider and provoke. We aim for our dialogue to reach beyond the artistic community, and Egg Rolls with Andy is a program dedicated to broadening the impact of our work.
Starting at 6:45 pm on the Cab Stage, these candid conversations will offer insight into the creative process, a chance to meet Andy, and free egg rolls. Actually.

After Hours @ TPM
We welcome a variety of artists who are creating new and exciting work to present on our Cab Stage throughout the season following Mainstage performances. And it’s all happening after hours, which means the bar is open. If you’re interested in performing, check out our Artist page.
Emerging artists take to the stage and are given five minutes to perform whatever they’ve got to show. At the end of each night, the audience votes for their favourite performance and that artist/group is invited to perform for 20 minutes at the next event. It’s sort of like The Hunger Games meets Show-And-Tell. Sort of.
Upcoming: Nov. 15, Feb. 21, May 9 @ 10:30pm
