Andy McKim has been the TPM Artistic Director since June 2007. He is a nationally renowned director and dramaturge who has worked in theatre for over 30 years. He has spent most of his professional life developing, dramaturging and directing new Canadian plays. Early in his career he worked in PEI, in Halifax at Neptune Theatre, in London (UK), but the bulk of his career has been in Toronto where from 1985 to 2007 he was the Associate Artistic Director at Tarragon Theatre. Andy has directed more than 50 different productions. Nearly all of them were world premieres. Most outstanding amongst them is 2 PIANOS, 4 HANDS . He sat on the Dora Awards Board, the Toronto Theatre Alliance Board (TTA), served as the TTA President, sat on the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres (PACT) board and served as the PACT President. Andy has taught in a variety of contexts and is serving on the Theatre Department Advisory of both Sheridan and Humber Colleges. He has also received the George Luscombe Award for mentorship.

Régine Cadet joined Theatre Passe Muraille as General Manager in January of 2014. She comes to TPM after twelve years with MAI (Montréal, Arts Interculturels), where she held the position of artistic and executive director for seven years. Under Cadet’s direction, MAI has become a Québec leader for the development of intercultural and culturally specific work by performance and visual artists. Régine has been a integral member of the arts community in Montréal, deeply involved in supporting and mentoring diasporic and emerging artists through her work at MAI, Culture Montréal and ResArtE (Réseau des artistes pour l’équité). She has served on juries and committees for local, provincial and national arts councils, and was a member of various advisory committees for the Montréal Arts Council. Originally from Haiti, Régine trained at the Haitian American Academy of Ballet and Arts, later joining the Ballet Folklorique d’Haiti. On her arrival in Canada, she founded the dance company, EKSPRESYON, which brought together elements of traditional dance, modern and jazz dance and with which she worked as artistic director, dancer and choreographer. Régine was included in Pierre Maraval’s Mille Femmes project to recognize exceptional women from Québec and received the 2008 MERITAS prize awarded by the Haitian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce to men and women who have made a mark in the business sector.

Rob is an arts educator, playwright/composer, performer and producer. A graduate of Queen’s University, Rob holds a BAH in Drama and Music as well as a Bachelor of Education in Artist in Community Education. He comes to TPM after spending almost three years as the Education Manager at Canadian Stage, and is currently the Artistic Producer of the Paprika Festival. As an arts educator, Rob has taught for the Toronto District School Board, the Toronto Catholic District School Board, the Limestone District School Board, Young People’s Theatre, Pleaides Theatre, Theatre Kingston and Canadian Stage. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the Professional Arts Organizations Network for Education (PAONE). As a composer/playwright, Rob’s work include:Spadina to Main (Queen’s University), Ike and Pearl: A New Canadian Musical (Toronto Fringe), Shutter (New Ideas Festival). His song cycle Giant is currently in development and has been seen in excerpts at the Buzz Festival (TPM), Festival of Ideas and Creation (Canadian Stage) and the HOTscrawls Festival (TheatreKairos). Performance highlights include: Dennis Cleveland(LuminaTO Festival) and Giant (Buzz Festival). He is currently collaborating with Briana Brown and go go go productions on a new solo project.

Jenn is exceedingly excited to be stepping into the role of Associate Producer of Patron Services here at TPM. After graduating from the joint Theatre and Drama Studies program at U of T and Sheridan College, Jenn has been working at TPM as a Patron Services Associate and Volunteer Coordinator. In her spare time Jenn works as an actor, takes classes of all sorts and makes pancakes. Jenn would like to send love out to all of our amazing volunteers and patrons who make her work easy!

Jason comes to Theatre Passe Muraille having production managed the Fringe Festival of Toronto for two years, and the Next Stage Theatre Festival since its inception in January of 2008. In addition to production management, he also is the Associate LX designer for Warhorse (Canadian production,) and 2 Pianos 4 Hands, and has toured with Ballet Jorgen Canada, Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, and Stars on Ice.

Petra Chevrier – Financial Manager
Petra Chevrier has worked as an administrator/financial manager in the arts and culture sector since 1992, when she began working for an arts service organization in Toronto. She was the Managing Editor of FUSE Magazine from 1995 to 1999, and subsequently worked as Senior Project Manager at Bruce Mau Design, and as the Executive Director of the Images Festival (an annual Toronto film and video festival devoted to independent and experimental film) from 2003 to 2005. Currently, besides working as Financial Manager at Theatre Passe Muraille, she maintains a connection with the film world, working with artists on special projects as film projector and installation technician.

Katie joined Theatre Passe Muraille in June of 2012 after spending 6 years as Administrative Coordinator of Young People’s Theatre. She is a graduate of McMaster University’s Theatre & Film program and Humber College’s post-grad Arts Administration & Cultural Management program. While working as the ‘Chronicler’ for a special project with TPM, YPT, the Blyth Festival and UK Arts Consultant Andrew McIntyre, Katie had the opportunity to learn much about how TPM wants to change the world and is thrilled to now be part of the team.

David Fisher – Mainspace Technician
Originally from Ottawa, David has been involved in theatre since the early 1990s, originally as an actor and then later as a techncian. In the early 2000s, he moved to Toronto to study acting at Ryerson University. He ended up studying in both the acting program and the technical theatre program, and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technical Theatre.
David has worked on a large number of productions across Toronto, largely as a technican. He is also the founder and General Manager of the Toronto Theatre Database (www.ttdb.ca), a website that chronicles all the theatrical productions ever done in Toronto. In David’s former life, before theatre, he was a competitive flatwater kayaker, who won a number of medals at the national level.
